We were excited to welcome our students back this week after Winter Break.  We reviewed all our classroom guidelines, the alphabet letters we’ve learned so far and made a new chore participation chart. In the second half of the week, the temperature kept us indoors, so we worked as groups with our construction works and made crafts after lunch.  On Wednesday, we measured all our students, made a graph of their heights and a decorative “garden”.  Thursday we learned that the earth revolves, orbits and tilts and this is what makes night and day and seasons.  Some of our students eyes grew big and lit up as they “got it”.

Our short week before Winter Break, we made several crafts. We hope the parents all enjoyed the decorative tiles that the children made with their hand prints.  They had fun making them.
