In the Chapel Hill Preschool room we learned about President’s Day. President’s Day is the day we celebrate George Washington (and all the other past president’s) birthdays. So today we learned a little bit about presidents in general, who they were, what they did by looking at pictures of all 44 presidents!

The children really thought that some of the presidents looked pretty silly with their big bushy beards or their silly hats (poor Lincoln). Speaking of Lincoln, we also played a probability game with a penny. The kids tossed a penny and marked whether it came up heads or tails to see which would win first!
