Q Week brought snow and ice and unusual schedules; still we had a full week of lessons.  We learned about quotes and questions and played a game together.  We used our Montessori sensory works and circle time to learn Q words and the shape of the letter.  We made paper quilt squares, talked about fractions and learned how and why quilts were made.  Harriet Tubman was our historical person this week and quilts also served as markers on the underground railroad.  We played inside games, danced and worked with blocks with the other classes.  Friday we had a birthday party and of course, Show and Share.
