Spring!
March flew by and we’re excited to enter into the Spring months with warmer weather and a steady diet of outside time. We changed our calendar icon to Spring and began adding pin punched flowers and green leaves to our class tree.
During work cycle, we’re alternating working independently and working in pairs. Our practical life works now include sand works and a new tactile discrimination work. Several new letter boxes have been added to our language works. During circle time, we’re working with triple digits on our number chart.
Many of our students have finished another round of notebook worksheets, so we’ve been customizing daily work to their specific needs. Some of our older children are doing two digit addition with counting stones; we’re helping others work on writing the letters they found difficult on their worksheets. The children continue to take real pride in their efforts and it’s great watching them learn and progress.
