Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Today was a day filled with crafts and fun!
We started off the day by reading The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn. This story is about a little raccoon named Chester who doesn’t wan to leave his mom for school, so mom kisses the palm of his hand to remember her by. At the end of the story, each child received a kissing hand sticker to help them remember that no matter where they are, Miss Caroline and Miss Brittany love and care about them!
Then we all exchanged valentines! What an adventure that was! Everyone waited patently for their turn and everyone said, “Happy Valentines Day!” as they passed them out. Great lesson in Grace and Courtesy thanking everyone when they gave you a valentine. After exchanging Valentines we all wrapped up flowers for our parents. We hope you guys enjoy the flowers that the children chose for you and the valentines they made for you! Pictures coming soon!
