Toddler Room Sensory Experience
Toddlers love to experience their world through touch, sight, smell, hearing and taste. This week our classroom experienced the fun of shaving cream! They were able to use all five of their senses and have so much fun in the process! This activity encourages children to manipulate and mold materials. It also encourages self esteem and an opportunity for self expression, because there is no right answer and children feel safe to change and experiment with what they are doing. The weather improved this week and we were able to go outside and get some fresh air. We also learned a new sign this week, “water”.
