Guitars and Zebras!

Elsa playing the guitarOfficer EmilyThe children in the Transition Classroom got the opportunity to play the guitar this week! Miss Sharon, our music teacher, brings her guitar every week and this week all of the children were given turns at playing it! We found that it was heavier and bigger than we thought, but it made such lovely sounds! We learned to share and wait our turn while our friends played. More fun with bubbles

Our letter of the week was the letter “Z”. We talked about the zoo and all of the animals in the zoo, including the zebra. We colored pictures and sang songs about the zebra, who lives in Africa! Is the zebra white with black stripes or black with white stripes?

The children of the Transition Classroom continue to learn and grow everyday. As the weather warms up we are able to spend more and more time outdoors with our friends. We love playing in our “cozy-coops” cars and we especially love to chase bubbles!
